Rainforest Day!

Lesson: Geography

Class: Year 4 Year: 2023 - 2024

On the last day of term, we celebrated Rainforest Day! We had a wonderful day making: headbands filled with leaves and flowers; repeating pattern necklaces; rain sticks to imitate the sounds of the rainforest; and jungle pops (tropical fruit kebabs) using food from the rainforests. We watched videos of the Amazon Rainforest, identifying animals, plants and facts about the rainforest that we have learnt about during our topic. During the afternoon, we enjoyed our class reward. What a lovely way to end our first half term together!
