Our chicks have hatched!

Class: Class 2 Year: 2018-2019

The Key Stage One teachers arrived to a happy scene in Class 2 after the bank holiday weekend. 19 baby chicks have hatched over the weekend! Mrs Kime carefully transferred them into their new home so they have lots of room to move around. They love snuggling under the heater but have also enjoyed exploring their new surroundings. We are going to observe them and see how they grow in the next couple of weeks. We will also be looking about how we care for them - linking to our science topic "Animals including humans".
