We have had a very throughtful week, reflecting on Remembrance. We have talked about poppies and their significance to remembrance. We shared the story '100 steps' about Sir Tom Moore and learnt about his amazing determination and walking to raise money for the NHS. We watched a video about a little girl who flew with a 99yr old pilot who used to fly in the war! We took part in our remembrance service at school, with two minutes silence around our poppy filled sand tray. We made a wreath with handprints to share in worship and poppies to wear all day.
