Class 1 - The Gingerbread Man

Class: Reception Year: 2020 - 2021

 On Monday we found a mysterious trail of flour in our classroom!

It was coming from the home corner, straight out of the oven. What on earth was going on? There was an empty gingerbread cutter and footprints in the flour. We shared our ideas of what had happened and someone suggested we have a look on the magic cameras in our classroom. So that's what we did, and goodness me were we in for a surprise! (see video below)

The next day we saw some more footage of the Gingerbread Man, he was on the outdoor play area! This time the video was from night time. 

Some of us made traps to try and catch him, some of made posters, some of us painted pictures of him and some of us made gingerbread man detectors!
