Class 1 - The butterflies have flown the net!

Class: Reception Year: 2020 - 2021

Hello Class 1! Hope you are all well.
Now as you know, on our last day we still had one butterfly to come out of it's cocoon, and as it was so rainy we sadly couldn't release the others. So I took them home and looked after them, feeding them grapes and apples, and the last butterfly finally emerged from it's cocoon! After a few days in the net, it was time to release them. My daughters helped me, the butterflies sat on their hands for a while too! I took some photos to show you how happy they were in the garden. I hope they find Madame Butterfly, she will be so proud of you all for looking after her babies all those weeks ago.
